1977/ 80: Attends Berklee College of Music and The New School.
1981/83: Performs with the Celestial Communication Orchestra (Alan Silva)
1985: Live Broadcasts for Radio France and FR3 TV. Records "What Else is New?"
with John Betsch, JJ. Avenel, Barry Wedgle, Jeff Beer and Bobby Few.
1986: Lives in Tokyo. Works with Masahiko Togashi, Fumio Itabashi, Sam Bennett, Tomohiro
Yahiro, Shiraishi Kazuo (poet), Pierre Clavreux and Tenko (singers) and Imamura Yukio
(painter).
1987: Release of "WHAT ELSE IS NEW?" on the Japanese label PAN. Starts group
M.E.T.A. with Tom Alexander (tenor), Jun Saito (drums), Febian Reza Pane (piano) and
Benisuke Sakai (bass). M.E.T.A. performed regularly in different jazz clubs in the Tokyo
area.
1988: M.E.T.A. 's first album : M.E.T.A. physics on PAN. Hibiya Jazz
Festival in Tokyo also performs with Motohiko Hino, Nobuyoshi Ino, Itaru Oki, Motoharu
Yoshizawa, Barry Wedgle, Natsumi Sawada, Todd Garfinkle and with dancers Min Tanaka
(buto), Naoko Ito, Nina B. (modem dance).
1989: Four concerts as a guest artist with Ray Anderson at the Shinjuku Pit Inn. M.E.T.A.
appears on a T.V. ASAHI live broadcast from the jazz club Bird in Yokohama also performs
with Derek Jackson, Jaye McGovern, Makoto Tereshita.
1991: Founds ART SOUND PRODUCTIONS in Paris. Performances with M.E.T.A. in Tokyo.
1992/93: Creates the ART SOUND OCHESTRA with Matthew Russell and Brice Wassy. Performances
with M.E.T.A. in Tokyo. Concerts in Chicago with Damon Short, Eric Schultz, John McClean
and Jeff Beer.
1994/95: Produces the A.S.O.'s first recording "Other Worlds " for EXIT Records,
and M.E.T.A.'s second recording "Metamorphosis", associate producer of Graham
Hayne's 1st release on Polygram "The Griots Footsteps", as well as performances
in Paris, Chicago and Tokyo.
1996-97: Performances in Paris with the A.S.O. Performs
with the Spirit of Life Ensemble in Paris and N.Y.
1998: Moves to New York. Concerts in Moscow with Alex Rostotsky. Founds the URBAN JUNGLE
ORCHESTRA.
1999: Plays in Russia at Alternativa New Music Festival (Moscow) and at Jazz Province'99
(ten cities in European Russia). Performs with Alex Rostotsky, Oleg Kireyev, Andrey
Kondakov, Leonid Vintskevich, The Second Approach and others.
